Andrew’s Journal – Entry 6

Journal Entry 6 – 9/21/09

I found a gun today under my couch. It’s weird, almost fancy. It’s silver plated with a gold inscription that read, “Thou shalt not kill.” I hid it in a pot in the kitchen.

I talked to my sister today. She hadn’t talked to me since the funeral. I didn’t tell her about the journal. I feel like I need to keep it secret and need to keep writing in it. At least the timeline makes sense.

I apparently lost two days. Wednesday, when this Jacob took me to a crazy charm shop. And Thursday, when I went into the desert to summon some kind of evil jinni. I also have no memory of Jacob. I can remember everything between losing my family and now, but with these hazy gaps. According to the journal, I spent this time with Jacob.
